oh my goodness, yuletide writer, I just want to hug you right now! Seriously, I got a little choked up there, and now I am overflowing with love for you and for this story. It's so exactly what I wanted - I didn't know this was their story, I hadn't thought of this, but as I read it I kept saying "of course!" I love Skye's hippie mom and I love David's painful honesty and I love how much everyone in this story just loves one another, even though it's hard and awkward sometimes, I love the way you've painted in their relationships and their histories and it feels like this huge full canon to me, now. Everything feels so real - and when I think that Daniel has just been waiting for Skye, oh, my heart. I could go on and on, but I fear it would just degenerate into nonsensical strings of vowels and exclamation marks. So let me just conclude by saying THANK YOU SO MUCH! You've made ten-year-old me very happy indeed, and twenty-mumble-mubmble-year-old me ecstatic.
