    This AU is definitely going to be one of my favorites.

    All major events of the canon are wonderfully interwoven into this fic, with the relationship between House and Cameron remaining very true to their characters. The way you showed how in Mayfield House was forced to face his feelings for Cameron and the hurt after their break-up was simply amazing. Just as was this painful process of coming to the decision to put an end to his addiction on his own, and the fact that Cameron understood that House needed to do this himself.

    I really wish we had your fic as a canon.

      Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Writing it was an interesting process, in trying to figure out how canon could fit into this parallel universe without fundamentally changing the characters and their reactions.
