    Herbert seems to have lost all interest in him now that he's not human anymore.
    Why, just why? How could anyone lose interest in Alfred? D:

    Like Alfred's a curious little pet, cute but useless.
    That thought is just ouch. As though he's completely useless but for a most simple entertainment :(

    "There's more room in the bed, too," he hears himself saying, a little coyly even though his voice isn't quite steady.
    And that's most certainly an invitation in any way you look at it xD

    So aside from jerk-face!Herbert I really like this story!
    How though he changed into a vampire Alfred still remained the same lovely person, only even more tragic because his naivety was partly lost over the whole Sarah incident. I think von Krolock could actually be really good for Alfred's self-confidence if given enough time, as the musical shows that he can be quite caring and that he knows the human nature quite well.

    Would most certainly love to read more like this ♥

      Thank you for reading and taking the time to leave a comment! ♥ I'm sorry I wrote Herbert as a bit of a jerk - it always seemed to me that his interaction with Alfred was mostly, well, "playing with the food" and I could imagine him losing interest once Alfred didn't have tasty blood to offer anymore. ;) I'm glad you enjoyed this nevertheless.

        Oh no no no!
        Thank you for writing this wonderful piece :)
        It's really hard to find some good Tanz fanfics centering around Alfred. And even harder to find them in English (which I prefer to read them in even though I'm German xD)

        Though personally the song "Geil zu sein ist komisch" made me think that vampires like to suck on each other too, as Magda sings Seit du an mir saugst find ich dich beinah' süss (Since you started to suck on me I find you almost cute), which in turn would mean that Herbert still could get what he wants from Alfred, just maybe not in the same quantity as from a living human ;)

          Das Problem mit den englischen Fanfics kommt mir bekannt vor... :D Ich lese eigentlich in allen Fandoms lieber auf Englisch, aber wenn der Fandom im Ursprung deutschsprachig ist, gibt es meistens kaum was. :(

          Was Du mit Madga und Chagal sagst, stimmt allerdings - die scheinen auch als beide schon Vampire sind, noch gegenseitig Blut zu saugen. Mist. Langsam gehen mir die rationalen Argumente aus. ;) Ich bin glaub ich einfach nicht der ganz große Herbert-Fan...
