I still find college issues in the US a little bit strange (and how to apply to one as well). In my country, the best universities are all free, so you just have to study in good schools in order to get good grades when you take the Vestibular (the test you have to take and all). Well, most people from middle class (and above) put their children in private schools, so you pay to study while you’re growing up and then you don't have to pay anymore (if you have scholarships, like I used to have, you pay around 8 thousand reais a year – it’s something around 4 thousand US dollars). But again, the average Brazilian household income isn't really as high as in the US. It's a funny clash of cultures, I guess (:
You recommended me this universe of yours, and here I am (after reading all the other parts and only stopping by to comment now... I'm sorry about that!). And good lord, you made me addicted. I hope you know I’ll be reading all of your fanfictions from today on!
Yeah, college in the US is messed up as far as affordability. For tuition, room, and board aa private university can cost $50k a year. There was a bit of conversation about it in the comments to an earler chapter, but in my opinion we do it wrong. Badly wrong. I could go on forever about it, but I really shock my international friends with how we do it.
Glad you enjoyed! There will be more in this series soon, and I hope you enjoy the rest of my fanfics! Thank you for the comment and the kudos!
Yeah, I know. My cousin (who happens to be American) once tried to explain to me and all, and then he gave up because I started to get quite annoyed lol
I think I could go on forever when it comes to complaining about public schools here in Brazil (we have decent universities, but basic education is still poor). But problems like these are global issues, unfortunately.
Yay, I'll be waiting! and then I will give you lots and lots of kudos, I promise (:
