I think it's the curse of really great writing, that it's the hardest sort of fic to give feedback for. This story is a really good example of that. I can't quite figure out how to talk about what made this story so lovely and special, although I will say that the historical bits and pieces and the lovely slow burn of Merlin and Arthur's relationship made me really, really happy. I love your storytelling voice, and the way that you reconcile that tone with the elements of this Britain that, though perhaps not textbook historic, would definitely not look out of place amidst the landscape of the Once and Future King.
