You alone made me smiling so hugely all through Christmas because I was so glad you liked your story. You ought to be given some kind of ribbon for best comments of Yuletide, because seriously, a long comment is a labor of love in itself. If I had to pick a favorite book I too would have to choose Gaudy Night, and besides the absolutely perfection of Peter and Harriet's relationship and the Oxford setting and the dons and, well, everything else, Saint-George is one of my favorite parts. So I started playing around with Saint-George's narrative, and I hoped you wouldn't mind if I skipped sex and relationships in this story and focused more on what was going on in his mind. I had fun writing it, and I'm so glad you liked it!!
