   This is a really lovely postcanon fic -- it's a thoroughly plausible and simultaneously optimistic and realistic future for these kids, and I love the way you've drawn both a grown-up Katie and the just-slightly-alternate world in which she lives.

      Thank you! I really liked the low-key plot and determined realism of the book (aside from the telekinesis, obviously!), so I wanted Katie's future to be similarly realistic -- as close to our own world as seemed plausible. So Hollywood is Hollywood, politics is politics, people are people, and Rolling Stone is conducting interviews as usual. It's just that some people also happen to have psychic powers. :-)
