      Thanks for the kind comments. I think this modern princess is definitely empowered! I was imagining Rapunzel from Tangled as I wrote this. But as I wrote this, Rapunzel morphed into all princesses that ever have lived in Fairy Tale Land. And the image of Gaston from Beauty & the Beast was the inspiration for the boorish would-be prince. Gaston & Rapunzel??? Sturm-und-Drang indeed. *Shudder*
