Oh, I love this! Your poor long-suffering Costis! Gen being horrible to get along with till put in his place--and then laughing and apologizing! Attolia sitting perfectly poised in the middle of the broken glass! And now I'm going to want all the fic of Gen and Attolia as parents! This had just the sense of humor that the books do, and everyone is just exactly in character. Thank you so much for the lovely gift!
