Wow :D Somehow I managed to not read this until now. It's full of so many great things... A heartbreakingly clear and believable Bryce POV; a lot of really neat, really characteristic Chuck/Bryce moments (Bryce's srategically arranged mirror and Chuck's babbling about Bryce's girlfriend... And such great mental pictures. That not-embrace! *happy sigh* I still love these two way too much for a couple that weren't even an official couple in canon and, in fact, only shared screentime for about half-a-dozen episodes years ago :p
Thank you very much! Perhaps part of the appeal is the whole part where canon is so sparse on details about these two, sticking with the highlights and low points, so to speak. (Well, either that, or Bryce is just that pretty, and I like to think of myself as not that shallow. *g*)
