I reread the series last year -- it's one of those things I reread every four or five years -- and I was surprised by how very, very slashy it can be. There's the Har/Suth, and then the Morgon/Deth/Raederle is...well. Kind of the main plot engine in the third book.
this is so belated, lol, but i was rereading this (again ♥) and it occurred to me that i hadn't scrolled through to see who else had commented, so i just saw this now-- but yeah, you're so right about that quote, lol. every time i reread this i'm struck anew by how beautifully you handled the shippiness. like the OP of this thread said, what they have is more intimate than sex, and personally that's one of my favorite slash tropes, so. :D :D :D thanks again, i'm still getting insane amounts of glee out of this six months later.
