That was definitely part of the plan back when I was writing the series (I was going to do an AU version of "2010" too) but unfortunately, I haven't written Stargate in so long that I don't think I could get the muses to talk to me anymore if I tried. :-\ But if it helps...yeah, I definitely wouldn't have left things that way.
