Thank you so much! It's lovely to get a comment as well as kudos, and I'm thrilled you enjoyed the fic so much. It bothered me why Mrs H took Sherlock's skull - if she didn't like it she could just cover it up, so I reckoned she must be using it for something... Then I remembered that purple outfit and what a snappy dresser she is, and so - hats it had to be!
