    To the eldest in the family always falls the responsibility of everything, no matter if it's wanted. You capture that well, here. The final section of Susan meeting Aslan is so poignant, and speaks to me as Christian, as well as the detail of Susan searching Scripture while her family dies (one cannot look back after putting the hand to the plow?).

    Beautifully written. I enjoyed it very much.
