Normally, I don't like to read songs, and it took me a while to get into this one, but soon enough you had me laughing and then it just felt like Monkey Island. Nicely done!
Thank you. I'm not really into songs either, but I read the prompt and suddenly Guybrush was singing in my head, losing all sense of rhyme and meter as he went along. I'm glad you felt it was true to Monkey Island, I certainly tried to be as ridiculous-but-still-kinda-logical as possible.
