I love the stories of how Dakin managed to start hanging out with all of them, the progression of his arrogance and fanclub, his frustration with Scripps.... And you really did an amazing job of getting the tone and voice right; it's a tricky fandom to write (because, as you say, the original canon is so impossibly good), but you did a fabulous job. And yeah, a little Scripps/Dakin, but YUM anyway. XD
....and boo, my Christmas seems suddenly sub-par, because I didn't get a naked Dakin. Rowrr.
Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! I'm sorry it was your fourth choice, I hope that wasn't disappointing; alas, I hadn't heard of any of your other fandoms. ;) I'm so glad you felt it worked, and didn't mind my Dakin/Scripps agenda. I CAN'T HELP IT, THEY'RE SO PRECIOUS.
