    Anon, you're amazing, and this was well worth the wait! It's hand-tailored for me, and there's Lex, and landsharks, and Lovecraftian libraries (which I am especially fond of since many of the Call of Cthulhu rpg parties I've been part of have lost their sanity from rolling a critical on "use library"), and hints at superheroes (I'm thinking that you either did your research or know me, or I'm just lucky, because this has definite shades of one of my favourite Justice League Unlimited episodes) and Holmes being Holmes and a perfect Watson-voice and wonderful prose.
