    Oh, my goodness, I don't even know where to start!

    LOVE that Desdemona is a Cambridge girl! I love her curiosity and her quiet intelligence and her discomfort with Roderick (who, by the way, is the perfectly awful Victorian gentleman I imagined). The descriptions are just magnificent -- everything about this feels so real and lived.
