Nicely done! Cleverly put together - really enjoyed how you managed the gender swap, such as the stepbrothers (their particular characteristics fit so well) and the reasons the princess was having the ball and not a joust was great too. The silver horseshoe at the end was a very nice touch.
I came up with the horseshoe thing close to the end of writing it, actually! I was wondering what to do since I put him in boots. So yeah. :smile: Thank you for reading!
