    Although, something you might want to think about: Hel is meant to be half-normal and half-rotting, right? I don't believe that there was ever any specifications as to where the cutoff was.

        In the comics, Hel has an enchanted cloak/mantle thing that Loki gave her. So long as she wears it she appears as a beautiful woman, but if it comes off she loses her power and appears to decay.

      I was under the impression that Hel only appeared half human, half unnatural. It wasn't until much later with Christian influences that that became split down the middle, rotten on one side and beautiful on the other. I always reckoned it would make more sense if she was something like Human looking with Jotun eyes and markings or something.

          I've read it now, and I have to say it's among my favourite non-explicit sex stories EVER. Maybe she'd look half jotun, half asgardian? Especially if her grandmother's apparently Midgardian genes come through.

          What really makes me giggle is that I trawled through Wikipedia the other day and found out that Laufey is actually Loki's mother. *snerk*
