   I, too, liked the lighting here, and I enjoyed how the background Weyr, with its watchfires, seems to take on the shape of a dragon, with eyes alight and perhaps scales gleaming. (An aside about the standard use of the word "Thread" here for a stream of comments: so ironically not friendly to Pern and Pern settings!)

      D'you know I hadn't realised that? That happened by accident, I was just going for the rugged/barren mountains in the sunlight thing! O.o
