   This is gorgeous. I love the rhythm and the rhymes, the prose-poetry style - it compliments the original really well. And I feel sad for Lizzie, with her darting glances and all the things she can never say.

   >Lizzie thought, Your lips are sweeter than apples.

   Just, *sigh*. So beautifully bittersweet.
