This is truly lovely. I like the way you have Peter with Jerry as a baby, and then later Jerry doing the same for one of Peter's children. And the glimpses of Harriet are lovely too. But it is the last section which makes this fic so utterly, heartbreakingly perfect. I especially loved the line about Helen not being able to see the ghosts and the hope that gives Harriet just for a moment. And then the phone ringing at the end with the awful news. I cried.
