Summary
Steve is poisoned in battle, and the team thinks Tony let it happen. Thor, Steve's lover, watches and waits as Steve doesn't wake up. Tony, locked in his workshop, has only the bots and JARVIS on his side as he works away the pain. But when time passes and Thor decides a sacrifice is in order, he takes action that can't be undone. When Steve wakes up and everyone realizes what they've done, all that's left are pieces of a puzzle that can't be put back together.

Summary
Repression of a traumatic childhood incident leads Loki down a destructive, violent path. Eventually, Thor learns the truth about what really happened and takes pity on Loki, rescuing him from brutal Asgardian justice and bringing him back to Earth. He doesn't plan to let his brother off the hook for his crimes, but he knows he'll be destroyed on Asgard. This unsettles the Avengers, with the exception of Natasha, who knows the value of second chances.

The Losers finally have a good, solid lead on Max. Their intel indicates that he's traveling from Europe to New York on a heavily guarded private flight. Luckily, the Losers know how to deal with guards, and it's child's play to take out the security. Too bad the lead was actually a false trail from Max, and instead of the man who ruined their lives, the Losers have just kidnapped a young woman named Darcy Lewis, who has never even heard of Max.
Even worse, the reason Darcy rated a security detail as she traveled is that she's a close personal friend of the Avengers, a superhero team backed by a shady government agency called SHIELD.

When Steve reverts to his preserum form, he has to deal with all of the health issues again on top of a new assassin, the Winter Soldier, appearing on the scene. Yet during a particularly bad battle, the Winter Soldier stops and helps his enemy breathe.

Summary
When he was 15, the Omega called Tony Stark was given to Obadiah Stane as part of a business deal for Stark Industries.
Seventeen years later, he is secretly making weapons for that same business, even though Omegas aren't supposed to be educated. Obie claims that the weapons are his, but his Omega's growing independence and insubordination worries him.
And then Afghanistan happens, and Tony's eyes are opened by a Beta named Yinsen.
Tony escapes, but he is a changed person.
Then, around the same time, a mysterious metal man begins fighting for Omega rights.
Steve Rogers, recently de-iced, is tasked with taking down the "Iron Man."
But how can he, when Steve agrees with Omega rights?
