Summary
While SG-1 and Martouf/Lantash visited P2X-586 to negotiate a treaty, a powerful storm hit. O’Neill, Daniel, and Teal’c made it safely back to the Stargate, but Sam and Martouf/Lantash were crossing a dangerous river when the cresting water washed the bridge away, and them with it. Sam awakens, wet and cold, and finds Martouf/Lantash unconscious and badly hurt. She carries him to safety, but their bad luck does not end there; the entrance to the cave they are seeking shelter in collapses, trapping them, with little food and water.

Story Summary: After several failed attempts to get time off at the same time so they could go on vacation together after Netu, Jacob asks Sam to come visit the tunnels for a month. She agrees, but when she finally arrives, she finds that her father and Selmak are on a mission and won't be back for a week. Instead of having her return to the SGC, they appointed Martouf and Lantash to be her guide and "companion" until their return. After a couple of days, sexual frustration is beginning to tell on both of them...something is bound to snap...and it does.

Story Summary: Sam is no longer recovering and, in fact, she is desperately ill. It appears to be from the same source as before, and this time there is no doubt that it was done deliberately. Nor is it the first time someone has attempted to kill her. Malek pressures Sam to tell him her suspicions about her poisonings. When she finally does, she finds out that Malek also suspects Delek of being involved, with not only the poisoning, but with the N.I.D. and the takeover of the SGC. More information about the raid on the SGC is revealed as they discuss what is being done to find the people behind the takeover. Sam is coming down with a cold, so she thinks it is just as well they will be gone for the next few days as it will give her a chance to recover from it. Lantash/Martouf discuss Malek/Devlin’s request to become her second-mate and exactly what that means in real terms. They approve of the addition to their household, but it is up to Sam. She decides that she would like to have them join her and her mates in the very old bonding called, for now anyway, Siaf’kesh’cor, Five Bound by the Heart.
