Sherlock and Sexuality
Sherlock (TV): asexual, pansexual, demisexual etc. John/Sherlock stories
The common theme in these stories is how two people with very different takes on physical and emotional intimacy deal with the depth of their bond. Each story has its own perspective on the subject, and some of them can be brutal. On the whole, they cover a very wide spectrum of tones, from fluff bitter, from tender to harroving.
I honestly think that each author in their own right have done a masterful job, and I'm deeply grateful to them all for sharing.

Summary
Started as an evening’s ficlet, for a quick prompt: wine, chocolate, and public sex. But then The Coat happened, and things got a touch out of hand. Because we do so love that coat, don’t we? It’s Sherlock’s armor, his shield, his magician's cloak. It’s Batman’s freakin’ cape, is what that coat is. And oh, that coat, lord that coat is made for sex.
“Sherlock looms over him, smiling, both hands on the bar above his head. He steps close to John’s seat, straddling his legs. His coat sways forward and shades John from view in a tent smelling of wine and chocolate and Sherlock and sex. John looks up, still smiling. Sherlock looks down, his belt at John’s eye level, his hips swaying forward with the carriage’s motion, and something in his eyes makes John straighten in his seat.
“’No. Huh-uh. Not gonna happen.’”
Poor John. He has no idea.

Summary
John's greatest worry is not the wrath of the international agency of assassins that he's just ditched. It's not that he can't stay in one city for too long or that he must always pay in cash to avoid a trail. It's not the fact that he's in love with the world's only consulting detective (or that the mad nutter loves him back). No, John's greatest worry is the appearance of Sebastian Moran.

Sherlock's not all that interested in sex, but he never told John because in Sherlock's mind, sex equals love.

Summary
Sherlock endures the indignities, bodies squirming against one another, the sweat, the saliva, because of John's jam in the fridge and sour-breathed kisses in the morning. (Chinese translation available.)

Bookmarker's Notes
"But you. . . didn't want to," John says, slowly.
Sherlock forces his hand to still. "I told you, I wanted the want. I wanted to be whatever you wanted."
"But you didn't want it," John repeats, getting louder and higher with each word.A beautifully written story on what is, in essence, self-imposed abuse. Intense and raw to the point of being physically uncomfortable, and yet I see a certain redeeming tenderness underneath.
