Everybody likes John Watson. He's down-to-earth and unassuming, and standing next to Sherlock, well... It's no wonder everyone assumes Sherlock's the horrific flatmate.
It's as irritating as any false assumption. Sherlock may be difficult at times, but John is hardly the flat-sharing ideal.

And velvet_mace said she could write sex and yes. Yes she can. So we wrote this. Its porn with plot. Over 16,000 words of porn! and much less of plot.

Oooh I didn't know this was posted on AO3 and even had a +12k-word sequel. I read this on the kink meme a while ago. I still remember I was literally on the edge of my seat pretty much most of the time. It's seriously long and addictive so clear out a big chunk of time for it and prepare a comfortable nest for yourself.

Oh. Wow. I read all 3 parts in one sitting and literally let out a breath that I wasn't aware I had been holding. This series is stunning. Stunning. I've always been amazed by authors who manage to weave humor, angst, and romance into their stories, and thirdbird did it beautifully. What I love the most about this series is that while the attraction between Sherlock and John is palpable, it's never purely romantic, but a much deeper and desperate pull. Also, the angst is perfect: Enough to break my heart, but not too over the top thanks to both Sherlock and John's refusal to take any shit from the other. Everything is just, so realistic and raw and unflinching. OMG LOOOOOOVE.

Oh wow this fic made me feel a wide range of emotions in an effortless and very graceful way. Sometimes it was just outright hilarious/heartbreaking but the other times it was much more subtly witty/melancholy. Such a great read!

Not gonna lie, I was vibrating with excitement and delight the entire time I read this series. I mean, it's Sherlock/The Addams Family crossover plus BAMF!John ! EXCITEMENT AND DELIGHT DON'T EVEN BEGIN TO COVER IT. Not to mention it reminds me of the Paradox series and anything that reminds me of that series is an automatic WIN.
