Students of every age and every size had littered the platform that morning, some old enough to be in uni and waiting to finish their last year, some eleven or a few years older and heading out for the very first time. After two years of rebuilding, the trials and the reconstruction efforts, Hogwarts’ children are coming home.
When the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor requires all students to pick duelling partners, John finds himself at a loss; after all, who is going to want an off-kilter war veteran a year their senior?
Enter Sherlock Holmes. When the castle reveals that the school is still unsafe, Sherlock takes it upon himself to discover the source of the malaise. If only John wasn't so distracting.

The first time it happened was completely by accident.
Post-Reichenbach, John finds a way to hold on to Sherlock after all.
Prepare yourself for 1.) angst 2.) plot 3.) smut 4.) more smut 5.) even more smut 6.) more plot 7.) happy ending. But, in apparently WAY too many chapters. Here's an excerpt, just to give you hope through the angsty first few chapters:
"I am going to seduce you, Sherlock Holmes," he rumbled into Sherlock's ear, smiling as Sherlock's breath grew unsteady again. "Not because you need it, but because you deserve it. We both do." He gave Sherlock a squeeze. "Trust me?"
Sherlock's head lifted, those uncanny pale eyes looking at John with complete sincerity. "I've always trusted you, John."
John felt the last bit of tension leaving his shoulders. "Good." He kissed Sherlock one more time, swift and soft — a promise. "That's good."

Summary
When in 1910 the Holmes Corporation found itself without an obvious male heir ready to take over, the Holmes family did the only thing they could: offer their youngest son, Sherlock, for marriage. In accordance with the times, they had to send him through a rigorous and demeaning process called feminization, to make it socially acceptable for him to marry a man. It was in hopes that Sherlock’s husband could take over the company while their eldest son, Mycroft, was groomed into something resembling a decent CEO. Who they found was James Moriarty, youngest son of a firearms manufacturer and certainly qualified to take the Holmes Corporation under his wing.
While on a steamship taking him and his fiancé to America to be married, Sherlock met a man named John Watson. Over the period of five days, their lives were irreversibly entangled. But this was not the typical love story; the ship they were on was the RMS Titanic. From the moment it set off from Southampton on April 10th, 1912, the great ship was fated for destruction.

All Guardian angels are born with a Chosen human. When this child is born, the angel comes into being to protect and care for them during their life on Earth. For John Watson, all he cares about in the world revolves around his Chosen, Sherlock Holmes. Watching him grow up though, the angel soon learns that God must have had a sense of humor the day he decided to make Sherlock, as trouble seems to follow him like a magnet wherever he goes. John can't decide what's worse, the idea of losing his Chosen one, or the fact that he may be breaking the most taboo law of heaven as he disguises himself as a human to better protect and befriend the beloved detective he's always watched from afar.
He was meant to care for him.
But what happens when caring evolves into something more?
What happens when an emotion an angel is supposed to be incapable of possessing comes to life suddenly and viciously inside John's chest ? -

Mycroft and Molly are in an established relationship as are John and Sherlock. This focus' on the family dynamic between them all. Mycroft's work impacts on them all and they must rally around to protect one of their number from an unknown threat. Each of their skills will be required to help defeat the darkness that comes calling. The threat is bigger than anyone assumes, but who is the target? We have intrigue and threat and also intimate moments that lets not be coy about are rather explicit. Pairings of John and Sherlock, Molly and Mycroft but don't worry Greg isn't left alone! Couldn't let that happen to our boy!
I warn you now there are moments coming that delve into the darker sides of our personalities. They were interesting to research but were difficult to write.
I have exaggerated and built on personalities, but have tried to keep them recognisable.
