John thinks people are only chatting him up so they can use him to get closer to his gorgeous flatmate. And the more people hit on John, the more depressed he gets, because fuck, these people are young, beautiful, and fit. There's no way Sherlock would want a dull, sagging, plain-looking cripple when he could have any one of them.
