2016-2017 00Q Reverse Big Bang
A collection of stories and art written for the 2016-2017 00Q Reverse Big Bang Art and Writing Challenge. Posting to begin January 14, 2017.
Q knows what James has been through. He knows, and so he doesn’t say anything else as James leaves, because if James can’t trust him right now, Q has to trust him to come back when he’s ready to talk.
Written for the 2016/17 00Q Reverse Bang!
The one where Q has a tumultuous past as well, and Bond's imagination runs amok when there's not enough context. (or, both of these assholes have trust issues and don't like talking about the past, and it Causes Problems)
James and Q have to work together to bring down a threat to MI6. Silvia was just the beginning. Now they have to end it.

Though Bond returned to MI6 after his ill advised jaunt around the globe with Madeleine Swann, Q still struggles with his own feelings for the agent in spite of the fact that Bond is clearly not the same man as the one who walked away from their friendship on Westminster Bridge.
James regrets having left London and MI6, but it is nothing in comparison to the remorse he feels for abandoning Q. However, James has made repairing their friendship his primary goal in the hope of gaining something he never realised he needed as badly as he does.
But Bond really hasn’t had a good time of it lately. Breaking his leg in a freak accident, James camps out at Q’s flat when the white-washed, soulless walls of Medical become too much for him to tolerate. Unfortunately, his leg is only the beginning of Bond’s health problems, and Q is conscripted into being James’ caretaker.
Confined to the close quarters of Q’s flat, the Quartermaster finds himself opening back up to the agent, but will the two men find their way to one another as they should have done years ago, or is time no longer on their side?
- Part 1 of What the Water Can Carry
After discharge from the Royal Navy in 1946, James finds himself adrift with no clear future. Hoping to find direction, he travels to America.
In which Q is a mechanic in a small Midwestern town, M runs a diner, and life still isn't as simple or peaceful as anyone would like.
Now with an AMAZING art book by Sir Appleby to complement the story. I am humbled by your talent and appreciation for my writing.
Chapter 5 completes the first arc of the story, and can be read as 'complete' in a sense.
Updates will happen on odd-numbered months.
Rating is for Ch 6 content

In order to stop a fashion label’s alleged drug and gun running operations, Bill Tanner and Eve decide to send both Bond and Q undercover as male models.
Q turns to Eve, his eyes alight with indignation. “This was your idea, Miss Moneypenny. What gave you the impression I might be a believable model?”
“You certainly have the arrogance for it.”
“I was not asking for your input, agent Bond.”
“Apologies,” James sneers. “I must have interpreted the signals wrong.”
“Please note my utter lack of surprise,” Q shoots back smoothly before fixing his gaze on Eve again who is currently adding this exchange to her list of Strange Things Q And James Do To Be Analysed Later.
